The Super Thundermac series 4-side moulder from LRADERMAC is designed and engineered with speed and stability in mind. The Super Thundermac provides state-of -the-art productivity for maximum profitability. Standard feed speed is 200m/min. Upon request, higher feed speeds up to 250 and 300m/min. are available.

 
 All-New Model  The Super Thundermac is equipped with a well-planned PLC control combined with touch-sensing screen, providing maximum operation convenience.

Each spindle is driven by an individual motor, featuring powerful moulding and easy control. Variable feed speed is achieved by means of inverter control. The entire machine is ruggedly constructed throughout to assure maximum stability during high speed cutting.

HEAVY-DUTY INDEPENDENT PRESSURE PAD
The sturdy and robust pressure pad is located above the bottom spindle, and is mounted to the machine body. This design reduces vibration and increases operation stability. The pad elevation is electronically controlled.
 
FEED SYSTEM
The 2 upper and 2 lower infeed rolls work in conjunction with a limit switch (gate) to stop the machine if workpiece is too thick or there is double up.
 
Movable Cutterhead Lift
The cutterhead lift can be moved along the machine for lifting the cutterhead. This special feature is convenient and fast for the operator to change the cutterhead.
 
DESIGNED FOR PARAMOUNT STABILITY
Powerful, heavy-duty pneumatic side and pressure shoes for the left spindle provide extremely stable pressure for high-speed operations. A pneumatic top pressure roller in front of the right vertical spindle ensures constant stock feed.
 
HEAVY DUTY GEARBOX & MOTOR
The feed rollers are driven through a combination of universal shafts and gearboxes, ensuring no loss of power transmission. A smooth feeding effect is assured. Heavy duty gearboxes have no backlash and provides powerful and accurate feeding performance.
 
Hydraulic End Support
All horizontal spindles are supported by hydraulic cutboard at the end to assure outstanding stability during cutting.
 
POWERED INFEED ROLLER
The smooth initial feeding of the stock is achieved by means of the independently powered top & bottom infeed rolls.

SELF ACTUATING FIRST FEED ROLLER
The first feed roll (with Built in clutch) is powered, but with high speed infeed, the roll will run freely, eliminating potential damage to the workpiece and machine. This allows for smooth operation with exceptionally high feed speeds.

 
User-friendly PLC Control
The Super Thundermac employs a high performance PLC control combined with a touch sensing screen, allowing the operation to be controlled with ease. The separately mounted control allows for moving to any position for added convenience of operation.
